Mon. Nov 16:
     *WEEK 12-A: Monday TRF due
Tues. Nov 17:
     DUE: *WEEK 11-F: Seven sets of Cornell Notes from Week 10-11
     *WEEK 12-B: Career Interest Inventory
Wed. Nov 18:
     No TRF due today, we will be attending the Career Fair (Link to Worksheet C/D/E)
     *WEEK 12-C: Career Fair notes
     *WEEK 12-D: In-depth interview of your choice of person at Career Fair
     *WEEK 12-E: Homework - Answer questions about Career Fair
Thurs. Nov 19:
     *WEEK 12-F: Career Research project
Fri. Nov 20:
     Fun Friday activity - Per. 2-3: Improv skits
     Not-fun Friday Per 4: Writing an essay/letter to explain why you want to remain in the AVID program

    Nov. 23: TRF for Week 13 Monday (LINK to a blank TRF since we ran out of them in class)
    Nov. 24: Binder check (including sub-0sections in each academic class)
    Nov. 25: TRF for Week 13 Wednesday, FYI: Minimum day schedule
    Nov. 26 - 27: No school, Happy Thanksgiving
    Nov. 30: TRF for Week 14 Monday
    Dec. 1: Cornell Note check (Seven sets)
    Dec. 2: TRF for Week 14 Wednesday

    Goals of AVID

    • Help you succeed in your academic classes in high school, so you can get into a four-year university
    • Help you prepare for the academic, emotional, and mental challenges of attending a four-year university
    • Help you acquire skills, strategies, mindset, and peer support to achieve your personal and academic goals

    STANDING DUE DATES: 
    • TRFs are due when you walk in the door, every week on Tutorial days.  
    • Cornell Notes are checked every other week; take notes in your other academic classes, and bring them in to be checked.
    • Some assignments will be collected in class, the same day, and will be announced as such when assigned.
    • Other assignments are due one week from the date assigned unless otherwise noted here or on whiteboard in class.
